Corned Beef Casserole
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 green pepper, slivered
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine
- 1 large can corned beef
- 1 small can tomato paste
- 1 cup water
- 2 tsp ketchup
- 1 tsp mustard
- Dash of chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 package (8 oz.) macaroni, cooked
- 3 fistfuls of cheese, grated
Sauté onion and green pepper in butter, but do not brown. Add corned beef, tomato paste, water, ketchup, mustard, chili powder, salt and pepper. Cook until mixture is thickened, but not dry. Add macaroni to meat mixture and mix well. Top with cheese and serve.
German Chocolate Cheesecake Bars
- 1 box German chocolate cake mix – prepare to box directions
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 8 oz. package cream cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a German chocolate cake mix to directions on box and spread in a greased jelly roll pan. In a separate bowl, combine sugar, egg and cream cheese; whip until smooth. Drop dollops of cream cheese onto cake mixture and cut in with a knife. Top cake with chocolate chips and walnuts. Bake for 30 minutes.
