#122 – Mexican Hot Dish

Mexican Hot Dish

  • 1 dozen small flour tortillas
  • 1 lb. grated cheese
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 can taco sauce
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • Dash of garlic, salt, garlic salt, pepper

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large saucepan, cook meat and onion until tender; add soups and remaining ingredients except the cheese, stir well. Tear 4 tortillas in pieces, put into the bottom of an 8×14″ dish. Alternate meat mixture, tortillas and cheese in dish. Repeat layers twice. Bake for 30 minutes.

Note: Chicken can be substituted for the beef.
